Mainstream Media’s WHTP-FM Portland, ME, hosted a conversation with Maine Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap on August 13. The conversation aired statewide Maine Stream Media’s three stations. They discussed the importance of voting, registration, deadlines and absentee voting and added clarity to a topic that has made national headlines The conversation with Secretary Dunlap follows a previous conversation with Maine’s Democrat nominee for Senate Sara Gideon. These efforts are part of the Hot Radio Maine “Your Vote Matters” campaign that encourages voting in Maine, particularly among young people.
