Binnie Media’s WFNK-FM and WTHT-FM Portland, Me., raised more than $383,000 during the annual 15th annual “Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital Radiothon,” held March 12 - 14. Due to the mounting concern of coronavirus, the stations had to move the event from the hospital to the studio. Station staff also ran every aspect of the radiothon, from broadcast to the phone banks, because no outside volunteers were able to enter the building. Despite challenges, the stations raised a record-breaking total.
