Block Communication’s NBC affiliate WAND-TV Decatur, Ill., is adding two weekend newscasts, known as “Weekend Daybreak,” that will air on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Premiering on February 10, Caryn Eisert and Meredith Juliet will co-anchor the hour-long shows.
“Viewers want news and weather all the time and by bringing news to weekend mornings, we are providing them what they are looking for,” said Ricky Joseph, WAND-TV president and general manager.
