Media General’s MyNetworkTV KRON-TV San Francisco will launch a one-hour newscast every night at 10 p.m., starting May 16. KRON will hire additional newsroom staff as part of the expansion. “We are committed to being ‘The Bay Area’s News Station’ and providing this additional coverage is both an important and exciting opportunity,” said Vice President and General Manager Ashley Messina.
