Gannett Broadcasting’s WCSH-TV Portland, ME hosted a debate between the six senatorial candidates in Maine: Andrew Ian Dodge, Independent; Danny Dalton, Independent; Charlie Summers, Republican; Angus King, Independent; Cynthia Dill, Democrat; and Steve Woods, Independent. The debate was one of the few in which all six candidates participated. The independent candidates said they would remain as such if elected.
