Months of reporting by the ABC15 Investigators at the E.W. Scripps Company station in Phoenix, Ariz., has led health leaders to promise changes to how one of the area’s largest medical imaging providers is regulated. After reports of multiple patient safety concerns at SimonMed facilities, the station investigated how the provider was able to function without licensing and appropriate government oversight.
