Coats for the Children Breaks Record with Over $195,000 Raised

The 35th annual WRAL Coats for the Children campaign from Capitol Broadcasting’s WRAL in Raleigh, N.C., broke its record with more than 3000 coats collected and over $195,000 donated in support of the Salvation Army. “We are thrilled to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Coats For The Children with such incredible enthusiasm from our community,” says Don Ursich, WRAL’s production manager. “The record-breaking number of donations reflects the warmth and kindness that defines who we are as a community, and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of this amazing journey.”
