WBAL, a Hearst NBC affiliate in Baltimore, raised $7.8 million for Maryland charities in 2022. WBAL’s fundraising campaign, "Helping Our Neighbors," was held in partnership with the United Way of Central Maryland. The campaign raised money for a variety of local charities, including the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Baltimore.
