The Blount County Education Foundation held its 24th Annual Radiothon on Thursday, September 22 on Our Town Radio-owned WCRL Radio in Oneonta, Ala. They raised $1,409,881.06, marking the largest total ever raised and a significant increase over the previous year, when the $1 million mark was achieved for the first time.
“We are thrilled with this unprecedented response for the Blount County Education Foundation and express our gratitude and thanks to all who gave! These funds create the pathway for our academic focused projects to continue, ensuring Blount County students will be impacted”, said Mitchie Neel, Executive Director.
