Eastern Iowa’s 98.1 KHAK, owned by Townsquare Media, raised $136,270 in a two-day radiothon to benefit University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Listeners heard stories from the families touched by the hospital’s work and heard about the care they provide. An annual tradition since 1997, the radiothon has raised more than $3.4 million for the children treated by the hospital and their families.
