Audacy raised $220,000 for pediatric care in Norfolk, Va., through 94.9 The Point’s (WPTE-FM) 20th annual Radiothon to benefit Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD). 94.9 The Point morning show hosts Mike Powers and Woo Woo broadcasted live from the station November 10-12 to raise money for the region’s only children’s hospital. Listeners learned what makes a children’s hospital unique and heard stories of strength and resilience from CHKD patients and their families.

The 94.9 The Point Radiothon is part of Audacy’s commitment to supporting the communities it serves. Since its inception 20 years ago, the radiothon has raised more than $5 million in support of the hospital.
