On October 8, 2021 WSOY held their 20th Annual Community Food Drive, which raised $1,546,426 for the Central Illinois Food Bank. Thanks to the food bank’s purchasing power that equates to 8,134,201 pounds of food, which will help to feed families and individuals struggling with food insecurity over the next year. This year’s event more than doubled the donations from 2020, which raised the cash equivalent of 3.2 million pounds of food.
