Over the month of February, E.W. Scripps Company’s ABC affiliate KNXV-TV Phoenix is partnering with the Arizona Children’s Association to assist children in the state’s foster care system and the good-hearted people who care for them. Launched on February 1, the program is collecting donations to supply "Just For Me" bags, which provide necessary, comfort and personal care items to children entering foster care, and helps provide a sense of normalcy and comfort during a difficult transition.
The station is running segments throughout the month to spotlight the organization’s work and the impact of foster care on children in Phoenix and around the state.
