Sinclair Broadcast Group’s CBS affiliate WRGB-TV Albany’s anchor Anne McCloy has helped thousands of people access unemployment benefits during the ongoing pandemic. After she was approached by someone struggling to get through to the state’s unemployment office, Anne McCloy began investigating the backlog, eventually bringing the issue directly to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo during a press conference.
