Beasley Media Group’s Charlotte cluster raised $85,000 during the 9th Annual "Secret Santa Radiothon" on December 3 to benefit children at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital.

WBAV-FM, WKQC-FM, WNKS-FM, WPEG-FM and WSOC-FM broadcast the on-air radiothon starting at 6 a.m. Hosts from each station encouraged listeners to donate online to support the hospital.

“That was an amazing day of local radio,” said Beasley Media Group Charlotte Operations Manager John Reynolds. “Raising $85,000 in the middle of a pandemic speaks to the caliber of talent we have in our Charlotte cluster and the power of local radio! Thank you all for making Secret Santa a big success though all the hurdles we had to get here.”
