Entercom’s WEEI-FM Boston raised more than $1.5 million for The Jimmy Fund and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute during the annual "Jimmy Fund Radiothon" on Giving Tuesday. The radio broadcast ran for 16-hours on December 1.
As part of the broadcast, the station dedicated its entire day of on-air programming to raising funds and awareness for The Jimmy Fund and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Programming included stories of hope and inspiration for a cancer-free future and featured interviews with pediatric and adult patients.
