Beasley Media Group’s WMMR-FM Philadelphia raised more than $1.4 million to help fight hunger across the city during the annual ’Camp Out For Hunger’. On November 16–November 20, morning personalities Preston and Steve camped out and broadcast live from a parking lot. Local and national leaders and celebrities joined the two morning hosts over Zoom to encourage further donation. In total, the station raised 2.5 million pounds of food and $1.4 million in monetary donations.
