Bryan Broadcasting KNDE-FM College Station, Tex., was nominated for a 2020 Service to Community Award in the Radio - Small Market category. KNDE-FM launched an inaugural day of giving on October 22, 2019 to benefit non-profits both large and small across the Brazos Valley. In partnership with the local Community Foundation, this 18-hour online giving event encouraged residents to “give where you live” and donate to local charities of their choice.

In addition to the generous support from listeners, local businesses provided matching hours to incentivize donations and increase total money and prizes. Through the power of local radio, KNDE worked with 103 participating causes to raise a total of $389,000. With a passion for helping their local community, this independent radio station with a staff of four understands the significance of live and local.
