iHeartMedia’s KRRL-FM, Emmis-owned KPWR-FM, Alex Meruelo’s KDAY, and Voice Ministries of Farmington’s KJLH-FM Los Angeles responded quickly to the death of George Floyd at the hands of the police. They preempted scheduled programming to cover the Black Lives Matter protests and provide a constructive platform for discussing racial issues. The Los Angeles Times detailed their efforts here.
