Townsquare Media’s WKXW-FM Trenton, N.J., supported Special Olympics New Jersey during the annual “New Jersey Law Enforcement Community Polar Plunge” on February 22. The station broadcast on-location from the beach and interviewed Special Olympics athletes, event organizers and those taking a swim in the cold water. The event raised $2.5 million.
