NBC-owned WCAU-TV and Telemundo’s WWSI-TV Philadelphia are offering grants to non-profits through their “Project Innovation” grant challenge for the third consecutive year. Through this program, the stations work to promote community engagement, volunteerism and empowerment for underrepresented communities and new storytellers. Alongside Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation, the stations will award a total of $225,000. Grant applications are accepted from January 1 – February 14.

“The Project Innovation grant is more than just funding — it’s an opportunity for nonprofits to help communities by thinking outside the box with innovative programming,” said General Manager Ric Harris.
