Cumulus-owned WABC-AM New York City raised $205,000 on December 13 in its “Radiothon for the Kids,” which broadcast live from Cohen Children’s Medical Center. The money raised will go directly to Cohen Children’s Medical Center for patient care, equipment and pediatric research. The money will also support the Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Program, which uses technology, play, art therapy, music therapy and pet therapy to reduce stress for children and their families facing hospitalization and illness.
