Sinclair’s Seattle stations KPLZ-FM, KOMO-AM/FM and KVI-AM, along with ABC-affiliate KOMO-TV and Univision-owned KUNS-TV, held their annual toy drive on December 13 to benefit the Salvation Army. Each station encouraged listeners to donate online and drop off toys and cash donations at three collection centers. The stations collected $125,000 and over 7,000 toys during the event.

“The toy drive has been a nine-year tradition for our stations,” said Gary Greenberg, station manager at Sinclair Radio of Seattle. “Our team builds an amazing campaign every year, and our listeners continue to come out to support the Salvation Army in a big way – it’s what local radio is all about.”
