WRAL Raises More Than Half a Million for Local Children

Capitol Broadcasting’s WRAL-FM Raleigh, N.C., raised over $604,000 during the 25th annual radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital on December 17 - 18. The 25-hour broadcast was hosted by morning personalities Kyle Smelser, Bryan Lord and Sarah King. The annual radiothon is the largest fundraiser of the year for the hospital. WRAL-FM has raised over $18 million for the kids at Duke Children’s over the past 25 years.
