Lenawee Broadcasting’s WLEN-FM Adrian, Mich., raised over $31,000 during its 14th annual “Thank A Vet” day on November 11th. Housing Help of Lenawee will distribute the funds throughout the year to help local veterans with rent, mortgage payments to avoid foreclosure, utility bills, rental facilities to store possessions when they are displaced, transportation stipends and items such boots needed for employment. In 14 years, WLEN has raised $280,000 to support local veterans.
