Sinclair-owned Fox affiliate KSAS-TV and MyTV affiliate KMTW-TV Wichita, Kan., co-sponsored the “Polar Xpress” Child literacy fundraiser for Child Start. The event raised $24,000 for children’s literacy and Child Start, a local early childhood development non-profit. Over 200 people attended the “Polar Xpress” dinner and fundraiser, which featured visits with Santa, a holiday item auction and a book drive. The evening was hosted by KSAS anchor Jasmine Haynes.
