SummitMedia Omaha Raised a Record $96,000 for Kids

SummitMedia’s KSRZ-FM and KKCD-FM Omaha, Neb., provided holiday gifts and meals for local families and raised $96,000 for children with life-threatening illnesses during two annual fundraisers. Listeners adopted a record-breaking 2,000 families for KSRZ’s 20th annual Adopt-A-Family radiothon on December 5 and 6, in partnership with the Salvation Army. KKCD’S Make-A-Wish radiothon raised $96,000 on December 6, a station record for the event.

SummitMedia Omaha’s Operations Manager Matt Derrick said, “Both of these events are true testaments to the passion and community spirit our team has and the love and support our listeners pour out during the holiday season.”
