The National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation awarded ADX Communication’s WYCT-FM Pensacola, Fla., the Service to Community Award for Radio – Medium Market at the 2019 Celebration of Service to America Awards Gala in Washington, D.C.
The award recognizes WYCT-FM’s dedication to supporting the Santa Rosa Kids’ House. Santa Rose Kids’ House offers on-site specialized sexual abuse therapy to help child victims and their families recover. The station raised nearly $15,000 for the non-profit during its inaugural Spring Jam, an all-ages event featuring popular country music acts.
