Sinclair’s KMTW-TV and FOX affiliate KSAS-TV Wichita, KS, co-sponsored the 5th annual Polar Express Literacy Event fundraiser on November 17 to collect books and raise money for youth literacy. The family-friendly winter carnival welcomed more than 200 adults and children for a ‘breakfast-for-dinner’ event. An auction featuring holiday items raised nearly $3,000 for Head Start Scholarships and another $2,500 for Child Start, Inc.
