Hubbard Radio’s WTOP-FM Washington, D.C., held its “Clicks for Kids” campaign March 5 through March 16 benefitting local area schools. Listeners cast nearly 120,000 votes in a competition to raise money for local schools.
Hallie Wells Middle in Montgomery County was awarded the grand prize of $10,000 for receiving the majority vote with 7,979. In first place, Chesapeake Public Charter in St. Mary’s County was awarded $7500 with 7,949 votes and Stevens Forest Elementary in Howard County was awarded the second-place prize of $5000 with 7846 votes.
