Alpha Media, Fort Dodge Provides More Than 500 Bikes for Tykes

Alpha Media’s KIAQ-FM, KXFT-FM, KTLB-FM, KKEZ-FM, KZLB-FM, KWMT-AM and KVFD-AM Fort Dodge held their “Bikes for Tykes” fundraiser November 28 – December 12. This year’s event collected 523 new bicycles to benefit Operation Christmas Church Women United and Upper Des Moines Opportunity. To date, Bikes for Tykes has collected over 3,500 bicycles for less fortunate children in the Fort Dodge area. “It’s great to be able to receive so many donations so we can help less fortunate kids in our community have a wonderful Christmas,” said Alpha Media, Fort Dodge Market Manager Steve Grgossweiler. “Our staff worked diligently to get the word out and help raise donations of cash and brand-new bicycles.  Once again, Bikes for Tykes was a complete success!”
