Rep. Chris Van Hollen and Republican nominee Kathy Szeliga, candidates running for Maryland’s open U.S. Senate seat, participated in two broadcast debates. American University’s WAMU-FM Washington, D.C. hosted the October 7 debate. CBS-owned WJZ-TV Baltimore hosted the candidates on October 26.
