WDSU-TV Holds Telethon After Historic Flood

Hearst Televisionís NBC affiliate WDSU-TV New Orleans held a telethon on Wednesday, August 17 to raise funds and supplies for the Second Harvest Food Bank after historic flooding tore through the viewing area. Monetary donations from the telethon helped provide clean drinking water, food and cleaning supplies. More than $100,000 was raised.
