WGVA-AM Promotes Anti-Bullying Efforts

Geneva Broadcasting’s WGVA-AM Geneva, N.Y. aired a series of anti-bullying public service announcements, written and voiced by local high school students. Promotions Director Tiffany Collinsworth spearheaded assemblies at high schools in the listening area, encouraging students to take an anti-bullying pledge. A contest was also conducted soliciting anti-bullying t-shirt and poster designs, giving away concert tickets to the winners.
