Heartland Media’s NBC affiliate WKTV Utica, N.Y. raised $502,000 in the 25th annual telethon on June 1 for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. The money funds programs and equipment for Maternal Child Services, including a portable neonatal heart monitor to ensure regulatory compliance. It also supports the area’s only Level II Special Care Nursery, which neonatologists staff around the clock.
