Univision El Paso and the El Paso Chamber of Commerce hosted FAFSA fairs at local high schools. Many families are not aware that $150 billion in federal funds is available yearly for higher education, so a lot of money goes unused. FAFSA fairs were attended by 2,370 students and 2,254 parents. More than 3,000 FAFSA applications were submitted.
