NBC’s KNTV San Francisco sent news teams to Israel to learn about how they handle water shortages. News segments aired Nov. 2. “Not many TV stations have the vision, let alone the budget, to send an investigative team half way around the world in the hopes of finding solutions to a major problem plaguing its region and, the entire state,” said TVNewsCheck’s Paul Greely.
