Manship Station’s ABC affiliate KRGV-TV Welasco, Texas raised more than $327,000 during its 32nd annual "Teach the Children" telethon on July 26. "Teach the Children" raises funds for school supplies and clothing for economically disadvantaged children entering the first grade. In KRGV-TV’s neighborhood, more than 85 percent of children qualify for this type of programs.
