Texas Stations to Hold Gubernatorial Debate September 19

Sinclair-owned CBS affiliate KGBT-TV Harlingen, Texas, and Sunbelt Communications’ Telemundo affiliate KTLM-TV McAllen, Texas, announced the stations have partnered with The Monitor to host the first gubernatorial debate for candidates Attorney General Greg Abbott and Senator Wendy Davis who are running in the statewide election. The debate will broadcast live from 6-7 p.m. on Sinclair stations across the state, including NBC affiliate WOAI-TV San Antonio, FOX affiliate KABB-TV San Antonio, CBS affiliate KEYE-TV Austin, CBS affiliate KFDM-TV Beaumont, ABC affiliate KVII-TV Amarillo, FOX affiliate KFOX-TV El Paso and Gray Television’s CBS affiliate KBTX-TV Bryan, Texas.
