WBRZ-TV Hosts Drive to Fill Prescriptions for Those in Need in Baton Rouge

Manship Stations-owned ABC affiliate WBRZ-TV Baton Rouge, La., is holding the 17th annual Fill-a-Prescription for the Needy campaign from March 5 – April 5 to raise money to purchase the prescription medication for Baton Rouge’s St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy. WBRZ-TV has set up 250 bins in 214 locations across the region to collect donations. Additionally, the stations will co-host three benefit lunches to raise funds. Last year, the campaign filled more than 38,000 prescription bottles for a total value of more than $3.3 million.
