CBS Radio’s KDKA-FM Pittsburgh morning host Larry Richert hosts an event each year to recognize Hometown Heroes who have contributed to the Pittsburgh community. Richert recently awarded the five 2014 honorees at an event at PNC Park. Each hero was recognized individually for their work and received a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice.
