Trinity Broadcasting Network New York and Senator James Sanders Jr. presented "A Salute to Gospel" in celebration of Black History Month at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center, hosted by Hazelle Goodman. Goodman became the first black actress to have a prominent role in a Woody Allen film and developed her one-woman show. Trinity Broadcasting Network set up a booth and gave announcements and giveaways at the event which brought in 350 attendees, and a variety of local entertainment.
