For two weeks, KRGV-TV held the "Sharing Basket" food drive which collected enough meals for 2,700 families. The KRGV-TV Toy Drive also collected more than $10,000 to buy toys that were distributed to children in foster care, local hospitals and in low income communities along the Texas-Mexico border.
