Scripps-owned ABC affiliate WXYZ-TV Detroit recently launched a special program called, "Taking Action in Detroit," which highlights community projects that are making a difference in metropolitan Detroit. The new show is hosted by WXYZ-TV news anchors and is part of the station’s Community Action Team, an ongoing effort to highlight the important community work being done through partnerships between local businesses and community service organizations. The program will cover local efforts to fight hunger, to give hope to children and to find a cure for cancer.
