Hearst-owned NBC affiliate WGAL-TV Lancaster, Pa., hosted the "Coats for Kids Telethon," to benefit Salvation Army branches throughout the Susquehanna Valley. This year marked the station’s 26th annual coat drive and the 19th year for the telethon. In total, the event raised more than $232,000, in addition to thousands of coats that were donated at several Salvation Army locations.
