The team at Emmis Communications in Indianapolis, along with the Emmis corporate team and representatives from the group’s local radio stations, participated in the 2013 United Way Day of Caring on August 23. Together, Emmis employees painted the exterior of Indianapolis Public School (IPS) 56, while reorganizing, weeding, mulching and planting flowers outside the school. In addition, Emmis CEO Jeff Smulyan read a story to students at IPS 56.
