Team Univision Arizona Gets Families Ready for School

Personalities from Univision Arizona TV and Univision Radio Phoenix welcomed more than 8,000 parents and their kids to the 2nd Annual Univision Arizona "Es el Momento Preparandose Para El Exito" Education Fair in partnership with Stand for Children Arizona. With the support and collaboration of MLB’s Arizona Diamondbacks, NBA’s Phoenix Suns, and WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, Central High School in downtown Phoenix was host to more than 30 non-profit organizations. The event offered scholarships to college and university students, laptops, computers, desks and thousands of backpacks. Featured speakers included the mayor of Phoenix, along with the Superintendent of Phoenix Union School District and a motivational speaker on education.
