Scripps-owned KNXV-TV Phoenix held a phone bank to raise money for the 100 Club of Arizona, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to Arizona public safety agencies, officers, firefighters, paramedics, and their families. Local firefighters answered the phone and collected donations from KNXV-TV’s viewers. At the end of the evening, $121,000 was raised. The money will be used to assist survivors, covering the costs for flights of family members of the victims, helping injured firefighters, and purchasing replacement equipment for the Prescott Fire Department.
