CBS Radio’s Phoenix Stations Collect $476,000 for Families

CBS Radio’s KMLE-FM, KZON-FM and KOOL-FM Phoenix hosted several drives at a local mall and numerous Dunkin’ Donuts stores to collect donations for the firefighters’ families. The largest contributions came from the Country Cares Concert, which CBS Radio’s Phoenix stations hosted in partnership with another local radio station. The concert, featuring Arizona native Dierks Bentley, raised more than $476,000. All of the proceeds were donated to the United Phoenix Firefighters Charities, which will be distributed to the families of the 19 fallen firefighters.
