Clear Channel Media and Entertainment’s KLAC-AM Los Angeles raised $135,000 during its 5th annual "Help a Hero" radiothon. The seven-hour, commercial-free broadcast and online auction set a station record. Proceeds benefited the Paralyzed Veterans of America, which provides rehab, access to medical services, job training and continuing research to find a cure for paralysis.
